The Murders & Acquisitions Kickstarter will happen this year. It's weird to say it, but that's what my schedule is telling me. So here we are.
I'm now in the second-to-last phase of M&A. Finalizing this bad boy. (The final phase will be the Kickstarter and fulfillment.)
I've sent contracts to three artists to provide illustrations for use on the back cover. These illustrations will be in color on the back cover and also be used in b/w in the interior of the book.
I've received all of the content that others are providing and have edited all of it.
I'm working my way through the entire manuscript, giving it my final editing pass before I hand it off for professional editing in February. So far, I'm about halfway through.
I'm also in negotiations with my graphic designer to do some more work now so as to alleviate her work nearer the Kickstarter, as she'll also be doing some illustrations and final graphic design tweaking then.
One Last Company Write-Up
As previously promised, here's part of the write-up for Etamin Capital Management by Tim Eagon. This company is part of the Monsters section of the game. There are monsters running this company! Tim has outdone himself on this one by taking my direction of "It's a monster-run company" and building it into something super-fun. He tied together the idea for the company with previously designed monsters, the overall flavor of the game, and some research to create something truly evocative in just 1000 words.
In the coming weeks, I'll have illustrations to share, along with a few other things.
I plan to attend five conventions between now and May to promote the game and run demos. Check out the Schedule page for more information.
That's all for now, my little corporate drones. Take care.
