CAPERS

Winner of a 2018 BAMFSIE Award

2019 Indie Groundbreaker Award nominee for Best Rules

CAPERS is an award-winning super-powered game of gangsters in the Roaring Twenties.

In CAPERS, players portray exceptional people – called "capers" by the general populace – who have been gifted with superhuman powers that defy the laws of science. You can play a gangster working to make his fortune in the vice-riddled 1920s. Alternatively, you can portray a member of law enforcement working to bring these criminals to justice.

Good Strong Hands

2022 Ennie nominee for Best Family Game and Best Rules

Good Strong Hands is a fantasy tabletop roleplaying game where you portray fantastic creatures and their newly arrived human allies working to save your home of Reverie from destruction by the faceless, malevolent force known only as the Void.

The game draws inspiration from movies like The Neverending Story, Legend, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and Willow. While Reverie is a land of the fantastical, filled with whimsy, it is also beset by this sinister, destructive force. Characters will be constantly tempted by the Void's corruption, even as they seek to end it.

The stories you tell will be those of friendship, teamwork, self-empowerment, overcoming harmful forces, and dealing with a world in crisis. You'll do all of this...with your good, strong hands.

Code Warriors

Code Warriors is a science-fiction tabletop roleplaying game where you portray programs living inside a computer world. The computer is crashing, perhaps for the last time. It's the apocalypse. Can you survive? Can you stop the destruction of your home.

You'll play a program that had a specific role in the previous world but who now has to find their way when all the old structures are gone. The stories you tell will center on survival, teamwork, the unknown, power and control, and rebuilding a new world in the ashes of the old.

Secrets of the Vibrant Isle / Secrets of the Vibrant Sea

Secrets of the Vibrant Isle is a solo, tabletop, roleplaying game where you portray a character shipwrecked on a fantastical island. As you play the game, you'll scavenge the shipwreck, protect your camp, improve yourself, and explore many dozens of the island's beautiful wonders and dark corners.

And you'll meet the island's inhabitants.

The island is a mystical place that only allows those it deems worthy to stay. Your character has a limited time to discover all they can, befriend the inhabitants, and prove they are worthy to remain on the Vibrant Isle.

Secrets of the Vibrant Sea is the sequel game to Vibrant Isle. It can be played as a continuation of Vibrant Isle or as its own, stand-alone game. In this game, you explore the mysterious, magical ocean around the island and band together with the denizens of the sea to halt a darkness that threatens to destroy both of these wondrous realms.

Other Games

Die Laughing

Die Laughing is a short-play, GM-less tabletop roleplaying game where players portray characters in a horror-comedy movie. Everyone's going to die. It's just a matter of when and how funny you can make it. After your character is gone, you become a producer on the movie and continue to influence the story and mess with the other characters right up until the bloody end.

Staged Heroism

Designed by Mike Myler and John Kennedy, this game is inspired by The Venture Bros. You portray wannabe superheroes (and sidekicks and secret agents) trying desperately to live up to the expectations of your super-parents and super-grandparents. And mostly failing…but in a fun way!

Nowhereville

Nowhereville is a horror-themed tabletop roleplaying game set in a town that won't let you leave. Terrible things happen in Nowhereville, perpetrated both by monstrous people and literal monsters. But the townsfolk constantly forget about these things. For some reason, you remember. And you fight back.

Low Stakes

A GM-less, rules light game inspired by What We Do in the Shadows. You portray a vampire, werewolf, ghost, mystic, or regular ol’ human sharing a house together in the modern day. You’re not very good at it and sit-com style hijinks ensue.

Interdimensional Shenanigans

A GM-less, rules light game inspired by Rick and Morty. You portray an interdimensional explorer getting into scrapes throughout all the universes.

Felt, Friendship, and Feelings

A GM-less, rules light game inspired by the muppets. You portray a puppet person and you and your friends go on puppet person adventures where friendship, found family, and sharing are very important.

What Once Went Wrong

A duet game (with optional rules for more players) inspired by Quantum Leap. You portray an altruistic time traveler who leaps into the body of people in the past to help them fix something that went wrong in their life.

4 Little Games

This compilation of little games includes a light roleplaying game about making a sandwich, a game about characters that have trouble making difficult decisions, a race to get your ship and assemble your crew, and an improvisation game that helps you tell fictional stories of embarrassment and poor choices.

Murders & Acquisitions

Murders & Acquisitions is a light, fun RPG of espionage, subterfuge, theft, intrigue, and murder in an absurd corporate world. The world of M&A mimics our contemporary world but with a healthy dose of humor and exaggeration layered over it. Players portray characters who want to rise up the corporate ladder by any means necessary. Thievery. Political intrigue. Espionage. Sabotage. Killing your rivals. It's all fair game in an over-the-top corporate world.
